Wanting to Increase Blog Traffic?
I've done and tested a lot of different marketing in the past years. Everything from Facebook, Periscope, YouTube, etc. And still, my favorite is blogging. Getting leads and sales from blog posts that I created years ago. It’s crazy! Blog posts, once created, it stays out there forever. Increasing your Blog Traffic is critical for people to see your content. Here are 4 quick tips to do just that.
1. Understand who you are targeting
I believe a lot of times people think if they are going to drive a lot of blog traffic to their website, that that's going to translate to money. That's not the case. If you are trying to feed a vegetarian meat, they will not eat it. If you have this filet mignon restaurant, and you are marketing to vegetarians, you're not going to get any conversions. It's the same exact thing with their blog. If you are targeting a group of people who are not interested in what you are buying your product, it's not going to work. Target the right market, and that will definitely increase blog traffic.
2. Be Consistent
Be consistent with producing content. The guy I was talking to is doing weekly reports. There are people out there doing daily reports. There are people out there doing monthly reports, but whatever it is that your strategy is, you want to be consistent with that strategy and production. If you are blogging once every six months, you're not going to get any traction like that. Have a routine in place where you're being consistent, where people are looking for you, your information on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
3. Promote Your Facebook Live
Facebook Live is huge right now. For example, you created a blog post, and you want to increase blog traffic to that post, what you can do is cut a short video, a 30-second to a minute video, explaining your content in that blog post and use Facebook. Take that URL blog link, put it on Facebook. Have that video explaining your content in that blog post and drive traffic to that blog post through Facebook Live. It's a very simple strategy. A lot of people don't know how to utilize it, but that's a powerful way that you can start increasing your blog traffic.
4. Understanding Why You Are Blogging
A lot of times, it is a way for people to say I want to give information away. I want to put it all out there. Have a strategy on why you're blogging. The reason why you are blogging is to get leads. You want those leads to convert into sales. If you are blogging just to blog, that's not going to translate to any traction, leads or anything. Have a purpose of why you are blogging, and that is to get leads. I've been blogging now for years. When I'm blogging, it is so I can get leads and so I can start connecting and communicating with my audience every single day. Have that similar strategy. Blog to get leads, so those leads can turn into sales for you.
