Most People Don't Know Marketing
First of all, in network marketing you should have two approaches to this on how to market your business. You can either focus on the business side or you can focus on the product side. Let's talk about the product side first. What most people do when they market their business, they just say that the product works. It works because somebody had lost this weight or somebody had got leaner. That's a testimonial and marketing, but really bad marketing. Let me explain.
Testimonials are great and I believe you should use testimonials to actually market your business, but saying that, I know it's kind of contradictory, but you have to figure out how it is going to benefit that person who's actually listening. That is what you have to focus on. If you want to market your business, and you have a product out there, focus on the benefits on how it will help them. Focus on the benefits of what it actually does and will it solve their problem. You will get more leads and more sales, if you focus on the benefits of how the product actually can help that person instead of telling them all the information of what the product does.
On the business side, you want to focus on the lifestyle or you can focus on the money if you have a person that is killing it, because this industry's real. Network marketing is very real. If you are talking about the company and the comp plan, some people care about that, but most people of them don't. They want to know how it's going to benefit them. Focus on the lifestyle and the benefits. Being able to roll out of bed and having a residual check every month or being able to travel the world and just go whenever they want, wherever they want to go, when they want to go. That's the side you want to focus on. You want to focus on how having a business opportunity is actually going to benefit them instead of talking about everything else about the company and the comp plan because most people don't care about that. They care about how its going to benefit them. If you want to market your business the proper way, focus on the benefits. Focus on how being a part of this company is going to benefit and better their lifestyle.
